ENECHANGE Strengthens Product Development with Introduction of AI Agents
ENECHANGE Ltd.(Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomoya Maruoka) is pleased to announce the introduction of AI agents “Curso,” “Claude Code,” and “Devin” for all employees involved in product development. This initiative aims to foster talent suited to the AI era product development environment and strives to enhance service quality and improve operational efficiency.
Background
In recent years, with the rapid advancement of generative AI technology, ENECHANGE has been actively integrating AI technology into its operations to enhance service delivery and promote work style reforms for its employees. In 2023, we adopted GPT-4 and have been actively advancing AI utilization. However, disparities in AI utilization and the personalization of practical knowledge at the operational level are becoming bottlenecks for corporate growth. ENECHANGE views the ability to effectively use AI as the source of future competitiveness. To promote the “AI-native” adoption of AI and large language models (LLM)*1 by all employees involved in product development, including engineers, project managers (PM), designers, and quality assurance (QA), we have decided to implement “Cursor,” “Claude Code,” and “Devin.” In an era where AI utilization determines corporate competitiveness, ENECHANGE is committed to advancing AI utilization company-wide to aim for providing high-quality services.
*1. A large language model (LLM) is an AI system trained on vast amounts of text data. It is highly capable of understanding human language and automatically generating natural-sounding text. LLMs can perform a wide range of tasks, including answering questions, summarizing documents, generating program code, and translating languages. Representative examples include ChatGPT and Claude Code.
“Announcement of “LLM Challenge Week” Utilizing AI Agents
In conjunction with the introduction of “Cursor,” “Claude Code,” and “Devin,” ENECHANGE will conduct multiple sessions of “LLM Challenge Week” to promote the use of AI and LLM. During this period, engineers will be prohibited from manual coding and will carry out development tasks solely with AI and LLMs. Other professions will also actively use AI for tasks such as prototype development, requirement definition, and design. Furthermore, we will use the business chat tool “Slack” to share insights, innovations, and challenges in real-time, promoting cross-professional collaboration and learning. Starting today, July 1, we will consecutively publish success/failure cases and real voices from the field, including our “LLM Challenge Week” initiatives, on ENECHANGE’s tech blog in a relay format.

About “Cursor”
“Cursor” is an AI-powered code editor developed by Anysphere, based on Visual Studio Code. By collaborating with large language models (LLM) like ChatGPT and Claude Code, it assists in real-time code generation, refactoring, and bug fixing in natural language. Users can enhance their coding and debugging efficiency using AI chat features within the editor, making it a cutting-edge development platform expected to improve development productivity.
About “Claude Code”
“Claude Code” is a coding assistance tool developed by Anthropic that leverages a Large Language Model (LLM) for AI support. It aids in various development tasks such as program auto-generation, bug fixes, code reviews, and documentation creation. By responding to instructions in natural language, it can flexibly handle complex problems and large volumes of code, thereby expected to enhance productivity and streamline the development process.
About “Devin”
“Devin” is an autonomous AI software engineer developed by Cognition. Unlike traditional AI assistants, Devin can consistently execute the entire software development process, from understanding requirements, coding, testing, debugging, and even actual deployment. By providing task instructions in natural language, Devin autonomously manages project progress and conducts necessary investigations, allowing for automation up to delivery, which is expected to significantly enhance productivity and efficiency.
Comment from Daisuke Kameda, CTO , ENECHANGE Ltd.
The introduction of AI agent tools “Cursor,” “Claude Code,” and “Devin” aims to create an environment where not only engineers but also employees in various roles involved in product development can perform at a higher level in their respective areas of expertise. By using these tools across different roles, we believe it is possible to accelerate the entire product development process, enabling the team to provide better services more quickly. Furthermore, as AI technologies such as “Gemini CLI” and “Notion AI” continue to evolve daily, we will continue to actively adopt and support these technologies to ensure that each employee can fully harness the power of generative AI, with the goal of providing high-quality services.
