ENECHANGE enters into content partnership with Tree Financial and starts service introduction by financial planners
ENECHANGE Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomoya Maruoka) is pleased to announce the signing of a “Content Partnership Agreement” (hereinafter “this partnership”) with Tree Financial Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Koki Nakamura; hereinafter “Tree Financial”), which provides “Money.com,” a service where financial planners (FPs) broadly support measures and future financial planning based on life plans. This partnership involves introducing ENECHANGE’s electricity switching platform by Tree Financial’s FPs.
Background
In recent years, due to the rise in prices, interest in reassessing household budgets has increased. In particular, electricity bills are a crucial point where costs can be reduced by reviewing electricity companies and tariff plans. However, with the advancement of electricity liberalization, tariff plans have become more diverse, making it more difficult than before to choose the optimum plan that suits you. Additionally, FP&A units offering household budget consultations find that supporting electricity bill reassessment has become more complex.
Taking into consideration these circumstances, we have established a system to broadly introduce the electricity switching platform “ENECHANGE” through financial planners, who are experts in reviewing household budgets and designing life plans. In this partnership, “ENECHANGE” will be introduced as a means for reviewing household budgets through “MONEY.com,” which connects financial planners and users nationwide. This will deliver ENECHANGE’s services to more customers and support the optimization of household budgets.
“MONEY.COM”
MONEY.COM was established to address issues faced by Japanese people, such as “retirement funds,” “insurance premium burdens,” and “anxieties about asset management.” Amid increasing economic uncertainty, the company provides a free consultation service with financial planners to ensure that everyone can confidently design their future lives. It has created a system that is easy to use even for those with little financial knowledge, aiming to help many people resolve their “money” concerns and achieve their ideal life plans.
MONEY.COM mainly offers the following three services. The first is the “FP Consultation Service,” which matches users with financial planners for free, allowing them to receive specific advice on insurance and investment management. The second is “Household Improvement Support,” which identifies unnecessary expenses and provides guidance on smart household management techniques. The third is the “Investment Advice Function” utilizing AI technology, which proposes optimal plans based on individual household data (scheduled for release). These services cater to a wide range of needs, from beginners to advanced users.
The electricity and gas switching platform, “ENECHANGE”
We provide ENECHANGE, one of Japan’s largest energy bill review platforms*1. In addition to comparing and diagnosing electricity and gas tariff plans for your current residence, you can also compare, diagnose, and apply for electricity and gas tariff plans at your new location. This service was launched following the deregulation of electricity in 2016 and of gas in 2017.
