ENECHANGE Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomoya Maruoka) is pleased to announce the installation and commencement of operations of 20 ENECHANGE EV Charge 6kW Level 2 charging ports across five stores of Royal Home Center Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Nishi-ku, Osaka; President: Masaaki Nakayama), a member of the Daiwa House Group.
Background of the Installation
The government has set a target to make the proportion of zero-emission vehicles in new passenger car sales 100% by 2035. Additionally, to accelerate decarbonization, there is a call for further spread of environmentally superior EVs and PHEVs, aiming to increase the sales ratio to 20-30% by 2030. However, parking lots and commercial facilities with charging ports for EVs are limited, making the development of EV charging infrastructure indispensable. Therefore, Royal Home Center has decided to introduce “ENECHANGE EV Charge,” which allows the use of various authentication methods, to enhance the convenience and satisfaction of EV users.
