ENECHANGE to Install an Additional 74 6kW EV Charging Ports at 37 Facilities Nationwide for the Comprehensive Hotel Chain “Route Inn Hotels”
ENECHANGE Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomoya Maruoka) is pleased to announce the installation of two 6kW Level 2 ENECHANGE EV Charge ports at each of the 37 Route Inn Hotels operated by Route Inn Japan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Taiki Nagayama), totaling 74 ports. Combined with previous installations*1, the total number of 6kW ENECHANGE EV Charge ports installed at Route Inn Hotels has reached 296 across 249 ports.
Additional installation of seventy-four 6kW Level 2 charging ports at thirty-seven Route-Inn Hotels facilities nationwide.
Background of Additional Installations
Route-Inn Japan Co., Ltd. operates nationwide, offering four unique hotel brands – Hotel Route Inn, Route Inn Grantia, Grandvrio Hotel, and Ark Hotel – along with golf courses to meet the diverse needs of various customers.
In April 2023, we decided to introduce “ENECHANGE EV Charge,” and during FY23, we installed 6kW EV charging ports at 213 facilities nationwide. We have now installed two EV charging ports at each of the remaining 37 facilities where EV charging equipment was previously not installed.
Charging facilities at lodging establishments are considered crucial in the travel plans of EV drivers, and a 6kW Level 2 charging port can nearly fully charge a vehicle overnight. This is expected to further enhance convenience for EV users.

ENECHANGE EV Charge

Furthermore, the “ENECHANGE Passport”, flat-rate subscription plan of 2,980 JPY (tax included) per month, allows multiple charges during daytime hours and offers significant economic benefits especially to EV users without home charging facilities.
