ENECHANGE EV Charging Service introduced at parking lot managed by Metropolitan Expressway Service Co., under the elevated Metropolitan Expressway in Koto-ku, Tokyo

ENECHANGE Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has installed a total of three ENECHANGE EV Charge regular chargers in the Shinonome A and B parking lots (two locations) in Koto-ku, Tokyo, which are managed by Metropolitan Expressway Service Co.

Metropolitan Expressway Service to introduce EV charging as part of efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050

The ENECHANGE EV Charge service focuses on destination charging: charging at locations where drivers may spend several hours and want to have a top-up charge, such as golf courses and other leisure facilities, as well as universities and other educational facilities.

Metropolitan Expressway Service, which recently introduced the ENECHANGE EV Charge system, is engaged in a variety of services, including elevated parking lots and parking area businesses. The company also promotes efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, and is actively developing EV charging infrastructure to help reduce CO2 emissions. This time, a total of three ENECHANGE EV Charge models were installed at two parking lots in Shinonome, Koto-ku, Tokyo.

The number of EVs and PHVs per 10,000 people in Tokyo is 16.0, ranking 37th in Japan*. We will continue to contribute to the spread of EV recharging infrastructure in cooperation with companies that are committed to regional development and achieving the goals of the SDGs.
