Call for teams to participate in the 8th annual competition

ENECHANGE Ltd. announces the resumption of the “Electricity and Gas Deregulation Cup,” an energy industry futsal event that had been suspended due to the new coronavirus, and that it will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Futsal Studio Rise Toyosu as the 8th tournament.

Launched in October 2016, the first year of electricity retail deregulation, the Electricity and Gas Deregulation Cup, held by energy industry professionals, was born with the aim of strengthening horizontal ties across businesses and boosting the energy industry as a whole. The event has become more and more exciting each time, and at the 7th tournament held in November 2019, more than 200 participants from 21 companies, the largest number ever, including electricity and gas retailers, energy-related businesses, and regulatory ministries and agencies, enjoyed exchanges through futsal. Due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus, the event has been canceled since 2020, but we decided to hold the event in December because we believe that unity within the industry is necessary now that the energy industry is going through a difficult time.

Entry qualifications: 1. Businesses engaged in businesses related to electricity and gas (e.g., electricity and gas retailers or their intermediaries, comparison sites, supervising ministries, etc.).; 2. Businesses capable of composing a team of 5 to 10 players (including substitutes). Mixed teams of men and women are allowed.
Number of Teams Accepted: 13 teams
*Please note that due to the convenience of the court, we may not be able to accommodate a large number of applicants.
Tournament system: League competition divided into two leagues
