Newly established “Japan EV of the Year 2022” sponsored by ENECHANGE and EVsmart
ENECHANGE Ltd., together with the EVsmart blog, which has been disseminating information on electric vehicles, has newly established the “Japan EV of the year” to select the best EV sold from October 2021 to September 2022 in Japan throughout the year with the aim of promoting the future of EV and EV chargers in Japan. The “Japan EV of the year” will be newly established and the first EV of the year will be held in Japan.
Background of the Establishment of the Japan EV of the Year Award
The year 2021-2022 was a landmark year for the spread of EVs in Japan, with more than 20 new EV models, including mini cars, going on sale in Japan. For us at ENECHANGE, which aims to realize a sustainable society by promoting the use of EV chargers, and for the EVsmart blog, which has been providing information on electric vehicles since the dawn of the EV era, we are eager to make 2022, the first year of EVs, a year of great importance. Therefore, we are launching “Japan EV of the Year” as a project to select an attractive AEV that society is looking for. Votes will be cast by evangelists who continue to disseminate information about electric vehicles mainly through the web media, as well as by the general public.
Let’s choose and support the electric vehicle that represents this year’s EV of the Year together.
