Announcing the Honorees of ENECHANGE Insight Ventures 2023 (2H)
ENECHANGE Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yohei Kiguchi, PhD) are excited to announce the Honourees of the second cohort of EIV 2023. Our Subscribers cast their votes for the ventures they were most interested in and where they thought were opportunities for the Japanese market. The four Honourees are Arenko (UK), Banyan Infrastructure (US), Circulor (UK), and The Mobility House (Germany).
After scouting for several months, the EIV team invited a dozen finalists to participate in the programme. Our selection criteria are informed by the Green Growth Strategy, Japan’s plan to reach net zero as initially set out by the Suga administration in 2020. These areas were also shaped by Subscriber interest to create a strong base from which to select suitable ventures.
The ventures were given the chance to present their solutions and future plans via our monthly webinars. After the webinars were completed in March, our Subscribers were asked to vote on the ventures that were most aligned with their interests and would be strong candidates to help tackle decarbonization in the Japanese energy sector.
The four Honorees offer strong and innovative solutions to further the road to net zero. New battery storage software solutions (Arenko); the optimisation of sustainable infrastructure financing (Banyan Infrastructure); better supply chain traceability (Circulor); or EV charging management (The Mobility House): all will play a key role in furthering our goal of changing energy.
Arenko
Arenko provides a complete software solution which connects and optimizes the battery’s technical and commercial performance using automation technology, AI, enhanced analytics and deep-learning algorithms.
