Announcing partnership with JTB Trading to develop EV charging infrastructure at lodging facilities nationwide
ENECHANGE Ltd. announces that it has signed a sales partnership agreement and a basic construction contract for ENECHANGE EV Charging with JTB Trading Inc. The two companies will work together to accelerate the development of EV charging infrastructure at lodging facilities nationwide.

ENECHANGE focuses on destination charging: charging for those who spend several hours at a given destination and want to have a top-up charge while they are parked. The company provides its branded ENECHANGE EV Charge chargers for customers including leisure facilities and commercial facilities. In June 2022, ENECHANGE began a unique installation support campaign that enables facility owners to install EV chargers for virtually zero yen, with ENECHANGE covering the installation costs in conjunction with government subsidies for EV charging infrastructure.
In Europe and the U.S., where EVs are becoming increasingly popular, it has become standard practice to select accommodations based on whether or not they have EV charging facilities.In response to this, ENECHANGE, in cooperation with JTB Trading, will promote the expansion of EV charging infrastructure, focusing on accommodation facilities, tourist facilities, leisure facilities, hospitals, schools, etc. JTB Trading has been engaged in group-wide projects aimed at contributing to the creation of low-carbon communities. Since 2015, JTB Trading has been involved in a number of charger installations utilizing the government’s EV charging infrastructure subsidy program. Leveraging JTB’s expertise and track record, we will further accelerate its efforts to expand the use of EV charging infrastructure.
