ENECHANGE forms business alliance with Mitsubishi Auto Leasing Corporation for EV Charging Business

ENECHANGE Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has entered into a business alliance with Mitsubishi Auto Leasing Corporation. Through this agreement, Mitsubishi Auto Leasing will promote the installation of EV charging facilities for its corporate customers.

Background and Objectives

The Japanese government has set a goal of electric vehicles accounting for 100% of new passenger car sales by 2035, and electric vehicles (EVs) are expected to replace gasoline-powered cars as the norm.

As of March 31, 2022, there were approximately 4 million leased vehicles in Japan*, and customer needs for charging facilities are expected to increase as electric vehicles become more popular.
