By combining ENECHANGE’s specializations on GX as a decarbonization tech company with the Aidemy GX online learning service, which is provided by Aidemy to develop GX human resources, we will support reskilling and contribute to promoting GX. On the occasion of this business alliance, ENECHANGE and Aidemy will host a joint seminar, titled “ENECHANGE×Aidemy Basic Knowledge for GX Promotion: Human Resource Development and Decarbonization of Energy” from 12 noon JST onThursday October 26, 2023.

Background

The Japanese government has declared its intention to achieve net zero by 2050, and has set a policy to invest 150 trillion JPY in the GX field through public-private cooperation over the next 10 years. Additionally, as part of the government efforts to support reskilling in important areas such as GX and DX (digital transformation), the government has also announced a policy to invest 1 trillion JPY over five years to support this field. As promoting GX has become an urgent issue for Japanese companies, there is a shortage of personnel with knowledge in the field of GX and skills such as management, business planning, research and development, consulting, and investment. Improving understanding of GX throughout society and fostering such human resources is essential as a business opportunity (“aggressive GX”), and to quickly respond to decarbonization demands from customers and the systems advocated by the government (“defensive GX”).

ENECHANGE is a decarbonization tech company that promotes a decarbonized society using digital technology. Hiroki Sonoda
Working in the energy industry since 2015, Sonoda has been presenting proposals for solar power sales, energy-saving consulting, cost reductions through switching energy companies, and renewable energy plans to corporate customers. Since joining ENECHANGE Ltd. in 2022, Sonoda has been in charge of developing large contract agreements as the head of field sales and have also been working on sales of non-fossil certificates.

Kosuke Yanagida
Graduate of the Graduate School of Agricultural Life Sciences, University of Tokyo. After graduation, Yanagida worked at New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), Agency for Natural Resources and Energyof the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and a Japanese consulting firm, before taking his current position. He has been promoting a wide range of operations, including support for energy conservation technology development, international cooperation on renewable energy, support for overseas development for Japanese companies, and planning new credit-related businesses.
