ENECHANGE to Install 6kW EV Chargers at 12 Hotel Chain “Hotel Wing International” Stores Nationwide

ENECHANGE Ltd. is pleased to announce that it will install 6kW regular chargers, “ENECHANGE EV charge”, at 12 locations nationwide in the parking lots for hotel guests of Hotel Wing International, which is operated by Minasia Co.

Background

The government has set a goal of 100% electric vehicles in new passenger car sales by 2035. Enexchange has set a goal of investing up to 30 billion yen to install 30,000 EV regular chargers in Japan by 2027. In particular, the company is focusing on destination charging, which allows users to charge their EVs by adding a portion of the electricity they use for transportation, and is actively promoting the installation of 6kW regular chargers at commercial facilities, leisure facilities, golf courses, and other places where people stay for two to three hours or longer. In particular, charging facilities at lodging facilities are considered important for EV drivers in their travel plans, and demand for 6㎾ ordinary chargers is increasing, as they can be almost fully charged overnight. The government subsidy program “Subsidy for Promoting the Introduction of Clean Energy Vehicles and Infrastructure” can be used for installation, and installation is accelerating with our Zero Yen for Installation Campaign.

Hotel Wing International is a hotel chain operated by Minasia Co. When considering the installation of EV chargers as part of its “environmentally friendly hotel management” initiative, the company selected EV Charging Ene-Change because of its zero yen initial investment and the ability to choose the equipment to be installed according to the size of each store. Hotel Wing International Sagamihara and Hotel Wing International Select Hakata Ekimae have already begun operation, and are being used smoothly without any burden on hotel staff. A total of 17 units are scheduled to be installed in 10 more hotels in the future, and the ene-change will be installed sequentially.
