ENECHANGE EV charge installed four 6kW regular battery chargers at Yume Mall Saijo, a new commercial complex to be opened in Hiroshima on October 27 (Thu)
ENECHANGE Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has installed its first four-port charger as part of its ENECHANGE EV Charge service model 1, at Yume Mall Saijo, Hiroshima City, HigashiHiroshima Prefecture. You will be available for use the service after the grand opening on Thursday, October 27, 2022.
Background and Objectives
ENECHANGE EV Charge focuses on destination charging: charging at locations where drivers may spend several hours and want to have a top-up charge, such as golf courses and other leisure facilities, as well as universities and other educational facilities.
We installed the ENECHANGE EV Charge ports at Yume Mall Saijo, is newly opened community-based shopping mall in Saijo-machi, Higashihiroshima City.IZUMI Co.,Ltd., which operates Yume Town and other large-scale shopping centers in the Chugoku, Shikoku and Kyushu areas, will operate the mall as the first shopping mall in Hiroshima Prefecture.The vast site of more than 90,000 ㎡ is equipped with a parking lot that can accommodate 1,480 vehicles and features a total of 29 specialty stores, including the first store in the Chugoku region, amusement facilities, parks, and other facilities.
IZUMI Co.,Ltd.has set a goal of zero CO2 emissions by 2050 to achieve a decarbonized society.They are taking concrete steps such as using renewable energy sources to supply electricity used in some of their stores.
They installed its first four-port charger as part of its ENECHANGE EV Charge service based on their belief that it is essential to provide EV charging facilities in the facility parking lots to encourage the use of EVs that do not emit exhaust gas.
Yume Mall Saijo aims to be a community-based mall where local residents can go and relax. We hope that the mall will serve as a community living hub where people can spend a fulfilling and enjoyable time, as well as a place to recharge their EVs during their stay.
The number of EVs and PHVs per 10,000 people in Hiroshima Prefecture is 15.8, ranking 42th in Japan*3. We will continue to contribute to the spread of EV charging infrastructure in cooperation with companies working to create local communities and achieve the SDGs.
