ENECHANGE to Install Level 2 Charging Ports at Public Facilities in Abira Town, Hokkaido
ENECHANGE Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomoya Maruoka) has announced that it signed a collaboration agreement last December aimed at promoting the expansion of Level 2 EV charging ports in Abira Town, Hokkaido.*1 With a comprehensive partnership, both parties will work together to contribute to the development of the local community, the construction of EV charging infrastructure, and the realization of a zero-carbon city. Under this agreement, 34 Level 2 EV charging ports will be installed at nine public facilities in Abira Town, Hokkaido.
Background of Introducing Level 2 Charging Ports
In January this year, Abira Town in Hokkaido declared its intention to become a “Zero Carbon City” by 2050. Furthermore, in December last year, the town signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with ENECHANGE, aiming to mutually cooperate in installing Level 2 EV charging ports in the town, contributing to the development of the local community, the construction of EV charging infrastructure, and the realization of a Zero Carbon City. Based on this partnership agreement, EV charging ports will be installed in nine public facilities in the town and are expected to attract many visitors. This initiative aims to enhance convenience for EV users, raise awareness about EV charging infrastructure, and promote the adoption of EVs in the town.

Introduction of ENECHANGE EV Charge to Public Facilities
