ENECHANGE EV Charge initiated use at Hotel Okura Kobe

ENECHANGE Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomoya Maruoka),is pleased to announce the installation of four 6kW Level 2 chargers ENECHANGE EV Charge ports at the luxury hotel “Hotel Okura Kobe” in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, which have become operational starting today.

Background of Installation

Hotel Okura Kobe, a landmark hotel located on the waterfront of Kobe in Meriken Park, offers rooms with the concept of “Simplicity and Elegance”. Guests can enjoy various views of Kobe, including the Rokko mountain range, the cityscape, Kobe Port Tower, a Ferris wheel, and a lighthouse, each offering a different look from north to south and east to west. 

In anticipation of future EV adoption, we have installed four ENECHANGE EV Charge 6kW charging ports on the fifth floor (west side) of the multistory parking lot. This is expected to further enhance the convenience for EV drivers. Additionally, charging ports at accommodations are important in EV drivers’ travel planning, and a 6kW charging port can nearly fully charge overnight.
