Strengthening cooperation with Ecolocity, a coin-operated parking facility operator, to promote EV charging infrastructure

ENECHANGE Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has signed a sales partnership agreement with Ecolocity Co., Ltd, a parking lot and coin-operated parking garage operator, to strengthen collaboration to promote EV charging infrastructure. Through this initiative, the company will support the installation of ENECHANGE EV Charge services for both individual and corporate customers of Ecolocity. At the same time, Ecolocity will also collaborate in a project to install EV chargers in Ecolo Park, a nationwide coin-operated parking lot operated by Ecolocity, as part of their efforts to install 200 charger units nationwide.

Efforts to strengthen cooperation with Ecolocity

1．Aiming to promote EV charging infrastructure through partner collaboration

Ecolocity operates 4,200 hourly parking facilities nationwide, and its mission is to contribute to the development of comfortable cities and play a role in the transportation infrastructure for the future. It considers facilities for EVs as an indispensable part of providing parking facilities, and its high affinity with the ENECHANGE EV Charge brand led to this partnership. ENECHANGE will actively promote the introduction of ENECHANGE EV Charge to Ecolocity’s customers.

2．Cooperation in Ecolocity’s goal of installing 200 EV chargers

Ecolocity has set a goal of installing 200 EV chargers to provide the convenience of charging electric vehicles at “Ecolo Parks” in anticipation of the increase in EVs sold in Japan. We will strengthen our collaboration in this initiative. As of September 1, 2022, a total of 18 ENECHANGE EV Charge chargers have been installed at eight key locations in Tokyo, two Osaka Prefectural Office parking lots, and other “Ecolo Parks” in Tokyo.

ENECHANGE EV Charge Partner Program

With specific CO2 reduction targets set for 2030 to reach net zero, the shift to EVs is one of the most pressing issues to meet these goals.
