Notice of Appointment of New Executive Officers

ENECHANGE Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & CEO: Yohei Kiguchi, PhD) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new executive directors from January 2024 onwards.

Name and Profile of Newly Appointed Executive Officer – CFO(effective February 1, 2024)

Tomoya Maruoka

Biography

After graduating from the School of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University, Maruoka joined the Development Bank of Japan Inc. and was engaged in domestic and international investment and financing operations for about four years. He then spent four years at McKinsey & Company’s Tokyo office, where he was involved in corporate growth strategy planning, M&A operations, and investor services, including due diligence. He then spent a further four years at McKinsey & Company’s New York and London offices, where he was also involved in M&A and due diligence work for local investors. After returning to Japan, he was involved in corporate strategy planning and business alliances at an operating company from 2022, before being appointed Executive Officer and CFO of ENECHANGE Ltd. in February 2024.

Name and Profile of Newly Appointed Executive Officer – Vice President of Engineering(effective January 1, 2024)

Daisuke Kameda

Biography

After graduating from the Graduate School of Science and Technology at Tokyo University of Science, Kameda went on to work at a systems integrator before joining Pixta Inc. as a lead engineer and operations manager. He then became the head of development at FiNC Technologies Inc., and later served as CTO at UnionTech Inc. (now Craft Bank Inc.). In July 2021, he joined ENECHANGE Ltd., as the Vice President of Engineering, while also serving concurrently as the head of development for the Platform business and Director of the CTO office.
